1970 Porsche 911 with a twin turbo Chevy Small Block shoehorned into the back. This car must be terrifying. Terrifyingly awesome! $38k is steep but 911 prices have gone through the roof in the last few years and this thing can probably blow the doors off almost every one of it's air-cooled siblings. what say you?
California car 1st sbc v8 conversion done by renegade hybrids in Las Vegas
has 350 sbc with edelbrock vic jr ported heads srp pistons motor is fresh
has twin Garrett turbos hd 930 transaxle with tubular adjustable suspensoin and big brembo style brakes small roll cage in back with recaro seats a.c car needs recharge
I have 75% of receipts that ad up to 65k paint is weak but still draws a crowd

I'm not sure I would call an A/C recharge and 45 year old paint "needing work." I like it a lot, I can't afford it but I like it.

What's it worth as stock? How much to put it back to stock? What's that you say, the 'engine swap' had the same effect on value as crashing it backwards into a tree? Never...

Paint is a huge job. For that much, I'd expect it to be taken care of.

There are some people who prefer original paint even if it's faded. *shrugs* Sometimes repainting a car can actually reduce it's value.

I'd buy the car, sell the engine, drop in a proper air-cooled flat six, and the world is at peace again. But definitely not for that price!

There's also the factor of how many people don't know what a good detail can do. It may just be that is what is needed.
